I'm so glad you stopped by.

I'm Renè Grandon, a born-and-raised Texan, wife to my high school sweetheart for more than forty years, mother of two amazing sons, grandmother to three wonderful grandsons, and a lifelong believer in the magic of imagination.

For many years, life was wonderfully busy with family, work, and everyday responsibilities. Like so many people, I tucked my creative dreams away, believing there would always be time someday.

As it turns out, someday arrived in my fifties.

Life has a way of changing our plans when we least expect it. After unexpected changes led my husband and me to leave behind the business we had built, we embraced a simpler life together. Today, we call an little RV in beautiful East Texas home, traveling for work with our two lovable Boxers, Ruby and Shiner.

That change, while never part of our original plan, opened the door to something I had carried in my heart for years: writing.

From my little corner of Texas, you'll usually find me with a warm cup of Crystal Coffee, a few favorite crystals, an open notebook, and more ideas than hours in the day, building magical worlds one story at a time.

I've always believed stories have the power to bring people together. They remind us to hope, to laugh, to heal, and to believe that even the smallest spark of imagination can grow into something extraordinary.

Moon Quill Press was born from a dream to be more than a place for books. It's a place where readers, dreamers, artists, and storytellers gather to celebrate creativity in all its forms, encourage one another, and discover the magic hidden within every story.  another, and discover the magic hidden within every story .

You're never too old to begin. Never too late to dream. And sometimes the most beautiful chapters begin after life turns the page for you.
